Igor Palmin

Igor Palmin is a Russian photographer who captured the reality of Soviet Russia in the 1970s-80s. From domestic life to armed forces during the dissolution of the U.S.S.R., Palmin says that his photographs are "about time... to become an object of observation in space, to accommodate all of us with our concerns, our affairs and vanity, our appearance, which sometimes reveal our essence, with the houses in which we live and daily street routes."
